3/5 Stars (%62/100) As others have pointed out, this volume feels like a filler before some major events. It focuses on Mark's daily life as he tries to deal with college and superhero life. Also, everyone is trying to recover from the chaos and pain caused by Omni-Man. This volume was longer than the previous ones with 6 chapters but as I've said nothing much happens. Angstrom Levy is introduced though. I also observed that there are more differences with the show in this volume, especially the order of things. I'm expecting something big to happen in the next volume.

Well, this was annoying. She talked about how little, small, petite she was and how big, strong, tall Joshua was in EVERY single f*cking page. I wanted to slap her for her 'i am a small girl and i need a big man to protect me attitude.' She was spoiled and he was overprotective, but not in a cute way. She was hurt by his snarky comments and name picking but wasn't that how it was supposed to do? I mean they hated each other and they were trying to make each other miserable. She was also being sarcastic and mean. So, why did he become the bad guy here? The book is called The Hating Game but they were even not playing after like 40-50 pages after the kiss. She was totally in love and didn't even bother to hide it. How couldn't she see he was in love too when she saw his apartment? It makes zero sense. There was absolutely no reason, no hate for them not be lovers at that point. She suddenly turned into a horny teenager and her crazy horniness was so embarrassing. She never tried to show him how he cared about him and she only objectified him i felt sad for the guy. And weren't they supposed to be rivals at work and fall in love while they were messing with each other according to the trope. So, what was all this about? It felt like the writer took 3 different tropes and combined them to make a different book(!). I'm sorry but she messed up. The only part I loved was their little dirty road trip conversation. It was both cute and hot.

3/5 Stars (%65/100) After watching 2 seasons of the show, I decided to read the comics before Season 3 comes (in like 8 years or something). There are 4 chapters in this volume and though I liked it, it was not extraordinary (at least for now). But I know it'll be much better in a few volumes. As far as I've seen the show was pretty faithful to the source material. I'm curious to see the differences between the two. Overall, it is a nice beginning to an enjoyable series.

many many spoilers This was...not my favorite. Beau was just looking someone who can babysit him and Maggie wasn't a Domme at all. She was only doing it because the kink test told her so. Beau was strictly against the club, his father's kinks and the kink world in general, but after he spent two minutes in the app, he was more eager than

I really fell in love with this series! Even though it was a dark romance, I couldn't stop giggling while reading it. The truth is, I never thought Walker would do so much. I mean, I expected a bit of madness, but this much surprised even me. In a good way. I was worried about what would happen when Olivia found out everything, but it was really good that things were kept secret this time. I was really happy that Olivia was a little bit crazy too. I mean, she was so open to Walker's craziness! I loved it! And I was really happy to see the trio of Lincoln-Ari-Walker, Monroe-Blake-Olivia. Because for example, in the log series, Mia and Annika were not friends, but they could got along with the other girls, but I was a little sad that there was no closeness between them because it was bad that the girls didn't group up and hang out with each other while the boys were all friends with each other. But not in this book, the boys have a group and the girls have a group and it's awesome. I have to say, Marco got what he deserved. The fact that he will suffer for the rest of his life without dying was the best punishment possible. As a result, it was a book that I enjoyed reading.

My cheeks hurt from giggling while reading the book! It was so beautiful! Honestly, I was sad that Ari wouldn't be as extreme as Lincoln, but how wrong I was! (Lincoln still takes the lead though) It's a great series for dark romance lovers, and I really loved the author. If I have time tomorrow, I think I will start the third book. And before I forget, I have to mention that while reading the book, Ari and Nikolai in God of fury resembled each other so much that it was a nice coincidence. If they met, they would definitely be a menace to everyone.

2/5 Stars (%44/100) It was okay in general but there were lots of unnecessary details in my opinion, especially Marianne Weber's loooongg descriptions of everything. Other than that, it was nice to learn more about Max Weber's visit to the US because it really affected his way of thinking. I was more or less familiar with Weber's ideas but the book provided me with more information about the visit (that's the purpose because Marianne Weber already published a book about Max's life). To sum up, it is a nice book to learn more details about the 1904 visit but I found most of the parts boring and irrelevant. I would not read it again

3/5 Stars (%59/100) As other people mentioned, the first part of the book is very very slow. If you can get through it, it becomes much better, especially towards the end. There are lots of temporal jumps so this also makes it a bit difficult to follow. However, in the end, Selasi manages to portray the experiences of African (im)migrants beautifully. The parts with Sadie especially made me really sad. All the characters are very relatable and you can find things that you can associate with. In general, it is a good book but as I've said, the first part is problematic in my opinion.

"The child of Zade Meadows."
It was simply marvelous! I loved it so much! I started the book only because Lincoln was nicknamed "the child of Zade meadows" and as a Zade woman, I can say with certainty that this guy deserves this nickname. Yesterday morning, because I had a lot of free time, I thought I would start a book and I started this book, the book was so gripping that I finished it in the evening. I can understand and admire Monroe because I know the difficulty of keeping a roof over your head, thinking about what to eat in the evening, working and trying to study at the same time. So I really understand Monroe. And the reason for my admiration! Even though Lincoln was like Prince Charming, the fact that she did not get carried away and did not deviate from her path made me admire her. Of course, in the end, Prince Charming turned out to be the villian king, but come on, that's what I like! So I liked the book very much and I thank the author.

"Glass" includes English poems of Pelin Batu. I had known her from the talks with İlber Ortaylı and Murat Bardakçı. But I didn't know that she was a poet also. I found the book in the library and started to read. It has a special taste. There are the translations on the next pages also, from Güven Turan, Nazmi Ağıl and Zafer Ildız. What caught my attention mostly are the name of colours, stones, places and references to some eras. She knows a lot and she knows how to convey her ideas. I really like this beautiful woman's poetry.

3/5 Stars (%65/100) It was good in general but some parts were difficult to follow because the characters, point of view and genres shift constantly. Transcending the traditional boundaries is good but I feel like it was a bit overdone. I especially enjoyed the parts about Chinese folklore and mythology. A woman (especially someone with a similar identity as Kingston) would probably enjoy the book more as she would be able to understand some issues better. Also, I've seen someone else comment it and I'm glad I'm not the only one because there were lots of generalizations about the Chinese experience. When we talk about Chinese people, more specifically those who call themselves Chinese Americans, there are numerous individuals with different experiences. However, Kingston seems to talk more generally in most parts. All in all, it is a unique and impactful book.

I resonate with this book. This is my second time reading it and I still feel satisfied like it was my first time. It May be hard to read at moments because of the crimes (no spoiler) but I suggest every one to keep reading you won't regret. This is my second book by this author and I am planning to keep on reading their work.
