The Master Builder is a play about ambition, fear, and the desire for greatness. While it explores deep ideas, the story moves slowly and the heavy symbolism can make it hard to connect with. This is why I couldn't focus on the book and felt really bored while reading. You can find intellectual exercises rather than emotions. The characters are not interesting and the dialogues made me feel more complicated, and the play lacks excitement. It’s a good choice for people who enjoy thoughtful, serious stories, but it might feel boring to those looking for more action or emotion.

This is no Little Prince, that's for sure. You must kill the fox, burn the rose, murder the businessman, if any of them tries to take control over your princedom. There's no time to be nice! There's only time to seem to be nice. At the end of the day, it is better to be feared than loved, if you can't be both. Nevertheless, keep in mind chapter 23. The Prince was written in the 16th century and a couple of its ideas are too contemporary. It is a major treatise that influenced several political leaders throughout history. Machiavelli is widely regarded as the father of modern politics by taking away any trace of theology and morality from his works. (That is something no one has ever said before.) I should have read it long ago, but everything has its time, I suppose. So, there are a lot of concepts that should just stay in the book and a few which you may apply to everyday circumstances. It delivers what you are waiting for, if you want to know how to have and keep power to yourself, no matter the head you are crushing, and all that using a fairly straightforward language. It is a short book and easy to understand, even though the notion of achieving glory, power and survival, regardless of how immoral you have to be... it is not difficult to comprehend; that we get. Cruelty, wickedness, immorality; all those things apparently needed to achieve greatness, all of them printed long ago in the form of a little book, just like that... From a twisted point of view, sometimes, it is almost a bit funny. It was an excellent read.

I really, really liked this book! I honestly had pretty low expectations going into this book and thought it wouldn't compare at all to the greatness of the 1939 movie (which is one of my favorite movies), but I was wrong. It was one of the best children's classics that I've ever read and I even loved how it wasn't that similar to the movie, so it kept me interested. I also had a beautiful hardcover Puffin Classics edition, so that make the experience even better! All in all, I'm so glad that I had to read it for my class! The book was very gripping and flowing. Yes, the book may be a fairy tale, but in my opinion, anyone from 7 to 70 can read it. Because while you are reading the book, you also learn from some things. When you read at the age of 7, you can think of other things, and if you read at the age of 70, you can think of other things. I can say that the book adds something to you. By the way, while reading the adventures of our hero Dorothy, I felt as if I was with them in the book. Will they always have the things they want? How is it going to be ? How will they do? I said stop. One of the things that makes the book so good, I think, is the simplicity of the author's language.

5/5 Stars (%92/100) GOD DAAMNN! is all I can say about this volume. I'm not going to get into too much detail because I want everyone to experience this greatness themselves. Most of this volume is dedicated to our queen Maki. She shines from the beginning till the end. I LOVED her character development and the moment I saw her, she reminded me of Toji. I'm glad we're on the same page with the author here. Apart from Maki subplot, the culling game plot begins and I'm sure it will be brutal and great. I'm still waiting for Gojo to be freed by the way...A brilliant volume and one of my favorites in the entire series.
