4/5 Stars (%83/100) This is my rating for this specific volume as well as the whole series. First of all, this volume was good and I think it did a good job wrapping the series up and tying up loose ends. As expected, there were a lot of deaths but those who still live are much different than their previous selves. Though it has some flaws, I would definitely recommend Jigokuraku. Seeing my favorite characters survive was also a blessing. The characters are very well-written in my opinion. The story is interesting enough to make you continue to read. The art style and character designs are great. The fight scenes are well-written and drawn and feel realistic. The mythological and religious symbols were great as well. It is pretty dark and that's one of the reasons why I liked it in the first place. I'm glad I decided to read the manga before waiting for the anime to end. I would love to collect the books and add them to my collection.

4/5 Stars (%79/100) Overall, it was good but not perfect as usual. We learn more about the new characters and their past. I'm especially interested in Jikka (the one on the cover). I'm also super curious about who is going to survive the island because I'm 99% sure pretty much everyone is going to die. The problem is I'm getting attached to these characters too quickly and their deaths would make me super sad. Aaannd after many many chapters I'm finally understanding the Tensen and their motive. That's the beauty of Jigokuraku in my opinion. Whether Tensen, Criminal, or Executioner, you can relate to many of these characters. We are getting so close to the end and I'm scared.

4/5 Stars (%82/100) It was good but not as good as the previous one in my opinion. It felt rushed and I felt like something was missing (that "oomph" in the previous volume). In this book, we learn more about Gabimaru's past and Iwagakure in general. That was very interesting and the new characters also look appealing. However, as I said the whole volume felt too rushed. I understand we are getting close to the end but the series did not have this problem before. I also hate pretty much 90% of the new characters (not because of how they are written but because they are evil, especially that Shugen guy). We'll see what happens next.

4/5 Stars (%77/100) This volume was full of action and I really liked it. I'm especially loving the character development of Aza brothers (Chobei and Toma). The characters are well-written in my opinion and you can see how they're improving both physically and mentally throughout the story. Even the cold-blooded killer Gabimaru is much different now. I think Gabimaru is still my favorite but I also started to warm up to the others (not the villains though). However, I'm still not sure if I'll be able to find that "perfect" volume. So far, it's been interesting enough for me to continue reading but I'm not sure when we'll reach that climax.

4/5 Stars (%78/100) This was better than volume 5 in my opinion. It was revealed in the previous volume that Gabimaru somehow lost his memories. Therefore, this volume focuses on Gabimaru and the people around him. The fights were good again. I'm super curious about Aza Chobei's future as he seems very interesting (of course other than Gabimaru). We also learn more about the island and its inhabitants. In addition, there are some new characters who are sent as reinforcement. The author is not shy about killing important people so right now I don't know who will survive.
