Notes from Underground consists of two parts. The first section is the Underground section. In this section, the worldly and psychological depression experienced by a forty-year-old man whose name is not mentioned is described. The author did not give a name to the hero. We can call this man an Underground Man. An Underground Man is someone who regrets what he has done, does not get angry. He probably likes sweetened tea and people too. Would want to hurt them.19. a century person can't handle being a character. Being conscious is considered a disease in this era. He'd rather be an insect than be so self-conscious. According to him, people with character are very excluded in this era. At the beginning of the work, this Underground Man begins to tell by saying that he is a sick man. The intellectuals of this century are suffering from this disease. There are also those who boast about this disease. The Underground Man, like a doctor, made his own diagnosis himself. He is trying to cure himself. The condition he complains about the most is the feeling of awareness . He is a man who has reached the age of forty, but has not been able to interfere with the forties, he has always been marginalized. The fact that he is so full of anger is a big part of the fact that he cannot be included among people. Dec. He talks about the greatest pleasures in pain. As a pain progresses or December continues, a person gets used to it and begins to feel pleasure, not pain anymore. In the second part of the book, the Underground Man tells why he came to this situation. He is a twenty-four-year-old civil servant. Communication with people is disconnected. He lives in disgust with himself. He mentions the disgusting face of an officer who was working again at that time. He thinks that if he

This is one of the best books I've ever read. This a remarkable attempt by Jack London in dissecting a person's evolution of being as they happen upon the path of enlightenment. Martin Edin (M.E.--a hint at the author's identification with the hero?) is a roughneck sailor who is blinded and transformed by the inner and outer beauty of a woman he meets, but this is just the beginning. Looking into her eyes he caught, "glimpses of the soul, and a glimpse of his own too." His former mode of being had come to an end. Throughout the story, his journey is chronicled as an intellectual and moral advance that conducts him from the dark haunts of his former 'cave' of life and gives entrance into a world of truth and love that was too white hot in radiance for the sleepy bumps he used to call his eyes. He educates himself through a personal track of reading books (indiscriminately at first, but in time becoming more direct and intentional), and soon he soars above even his erudite peers in his apprehension of philosophy and scientific verities. "And so you arise from mud, Martin Edin,...and you cleanse your eyes in a great brightness, thrusting your shoulders among the stars...and wresting highest heritage from all the powers that be." He mounts to a dizzying height of cultural development and cerebral prowess...yet he ultimately finds himself engulfed in loneliness and emptiness. He had opened the windows of the cramped quarters of his former existence, and having completed his trek of this new world he discovered, he finds that it is hermetically sealed from all outside life and anything that could possibly make him happy again. He had found the truth, but lost love...and he finally wrestles with the decision about what to do with it all. His answer will shock you.

20180708 16:59 II 1. Kafka Tamura 2. Your servant Nakata 3. Entrance stone 4. Colonel Winston **** Kafka Tamura A fifteen-year-old boy. His mother left home when he was 3 years old and he was living together with his father. But the father was so busy with his own life and he was not aware of his son. One day he decided to escape from home. He prepared his bag, took some money from his father's valet. He did not have any idea where to go. He did not have any plan. He just wanted to leave home and live alone in an unknown place, far away from all his relatives and friends. He did not only left home but he also left the school. He was studying at a middle school and he was to finish it because it was compulsory for anyone to finish at least middle school. This story is an interesting affair for any teenager. Leaving home and school. Packing his suitcase putting some underwear and t-shirts. One hand in the pocket and the suitcase on the shoulder, sun glasses on the eyes... Money enough to live for a few days... Later... No problem... Solutions are to be explored... Experience is to be tested. I want to travel now in the cells of his brain. What kind of expectations or which reason is to be handled as the key word of this travel desire... leaving all his life behind, for a new but an unknown life considering that on that time he was only fifteen years old. No mother. No brother and sister. Father, yes, but just a name, he was outside of this sight, busy with his job, not aware of his son, even he was at home or not he never thinks... He generates his own wish to travel with his bag as a companion. Why? How does a human, a teenager feed his wishes for such a travel? This is the question

As much as I like a good love story, I wouldn't call myself a romantic. Not by a long shot. In fact, I can be pretty cold-hearted when it comes to romance books, remaining emotionless in the face of tragic heartbreak and loss. BUT... It's impossible not to fall in love with the characters and story in this deeply emotional and insightful novel. Me Before You tells the story of a man and a woman in a small British town: One is confined there, and one has confined herself there. Readers might think they're getting into a romance, but instead they find themselves cought in a beautiful, emotional, and nerve-shreding novel. No character in this book is a cliche, not even minor characters, such as an ex-girlfriend of Will's who easily could have been a stereotype. The story's told mostly from Lou's viewpoint, with a few chapters from the viewpoints of other characters, with the notable exception of Will. Lou has a great voice as a character. She has a lot on her shoulders, but she's charming and funny, especially when she chatters nervously. Will is more of a cipher as he confronts major problems: confined to a wheelchair, living with pain, missing his old life, and not knowing when or how badly his condition will deteriorate. Author Jojo Moyes provides an eye-opening look at what quadriplegics have to deal with on a daily basis, physically, emotionally, and socially. Also addressed is the issue of death with dignity. That said, the book has stimulated controversy for offering what some consider a stereotypical portrayal of a disabled person who feels that life's not worth living because he's disabled.  Me Before You will move many readers to tears, but not in an overly manipulative way. In addition to the good humor and emotion in the book, the suspense is gripping.
