Far from the Madding Crowd was more than a love story for me. It is about love, pride and how our choices. I enjoyed the life book and Bathsheba. Also seeing how her relationships changed over time. I loved the countryside setting and the quiet atmosphere of the book. The story moves slowly but it fits the mood I believe. As some characters frustrated me this also made them feel more real. Compared to Pride and Prejudice, which I enjoyed more, Hardy's novel felt more serious. It lacks Austen's lively conversations, but both books are those days' NETFLIX dramas. Not every chapter worked for me, but the book left me a calm and beautiful sense of life. The life I really admire to have.

Breathe. Be. --- I don’t think I’ve ever read an English book written with this much detail before. At some point, I really wished I could read a well-translated Turkish version of this book, but I don’t think one exists — or at least I’ve never come across it. While reading, if you miss even the smallest detail for a moment, you suddenly forget what exactly you’re reading. Because nothing is what you think it is. Everything is made of thoughts, and thoughts can become

This book is a collection of poems that captures ordinary emotions with a powerful voice. There are no grand events here; just love, loneliness, memory and the quiet passage of time. Some lines make you pause and reread them without even realizing it. Definitely it's a one sitting read book, but also the kind of book you want to take slowly and absorb the poems.

I finished The Housemaid and honestly it was one of those books that keeps you slightly uncomfortable the whole time in a good way. Just when you think you understand the characters and the situation, the story quietly shifts and makes you question everything again. The tension builds slowly, but the twists hit hard. Definitely one of those psychological thrillers that stays in your head even after the last page.

Since I genuinely enjoyed reading The Great Gatsby and felt the elements of the American Dream deeply woven between its lines, I wanted my first review to be about this novel. The language is simple yet powerful, which makes the story flow effortlessly and makes it very hard to put the book down. This was a reading experience I truly enjoyed. At times, I felt deeply saddened by Gatsby’s quiet loneliness hidden within his glamorous life, and I was very happy to see his friendship with Nick develop slowly and warmly, almost like a flower blooming. Even though Daisy’s actions towards the end frustrated me quite a bit, I still found it difficult to hate her. I think she is a very realistic character who reflects the challenges of being a woman in that era. Through Daisy, Fitzgerald quietly but effectively portrays the element of opportunism within the American Dream. At first, Myrtle Wilson seems like the typical character who represents this idea. However, by the end of the novel, Daisy Buchanan, who initially appears innocent and kind, chooses the path that benefits her the most. This shows that she is not simply a passive female character, but rather a dynamic and complex opportunist. Still, I felt truly sorry for Gatsby and his love. Seeing a man who was willing to risk everything for his dream end up betrayed like this was heartbreaking. The fact that his death was just as quiet and unnoticed as the loneliness he lived with made it even more tragic. Gatsby, who constantly symbolizes ambition and growth, dies in what could be seen as a tragic failure, making his story feel tragically similar to the fate of the American Dream itself. It is a really great book that has a lot of great messages. Unfortunately, I only read 15% of it before the war happened in the Middle East and we started lacking electricity. So I ended up finishing it in two nights because of the power outages. This fast reading might have kept me from fully experiencing the book, because I prefer to read slowly and really invest in it. But still loved it
