I like not knowing about some things. Yes. I like it. Because it feels comfortable to me. I take refuge in the comfort of saying "I don't know." I read the Elephant Man story for the first time in this book. But I didn't know it was a famous story and based on a true event. Absolutely. So I'm glad I read it without knowing anything about it. Because it didn't affect my feelings. I did a simple reading and I have simple feelings. Not exaggerated. The Elephant Man was a human and never a creature. Monster or creature. He was human. What about the other people? They are prejudiced. As always. I think the real creatures are the other people. Because they wounded a wounded person again and again. That evil requires having an evil heart. Right? Clear... Apart from that. The book is very easy to read because when I didn't know a word, I looked up its meaning on the next page. It was very comfortable. I didn't use a dictionary. Besides, this was a first-level reading. Beginner level. I will watch the movie. Of course, I will watch it in English. Because I made a promise to Professor Akif. Just like he promised Fuat Sezgin. I know I'll always be grateful to him. That's it. That's all I know. I had a crazy idea today. I've been reading Harry Potter for 23 years. It's time I started reading it in English. That's real magic!

There is actually nothing to say about the book, as it doesn’t have any engaging passages or a real plot. We are reading paragraphs about two friends who don’t have any emotional connection with each other but who are only attracted to one another sexually. I mean, normal people have feelings, daily routines, and sometimes interesting dialogues, but these two have absolutely nothing in common, neither daily routines nor any interesting actions happening in their lives. I chose this book because of its simplicity; it was a good choice for my language level, but there was nothing interesting or appealing in terms of the story or the characters. It’s good to see new writers doing interesting things, and even if I’m a bit distant from the bestseller shelves or new writers, I’d like to give this book a chance and maybe break my prejudices. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the book and saw it as a waste of time. Saying that makes me a bit sad because Sally Rooney seems to be a courageous person who raises social awareness about what is happening around the world. I’ll still keep my distance from her books, but I hope that won’t last forever.

This book had been showing up on my YouTube for a long time, and from what I understood, the reviews weren’t very positive. I wanted to read it without being influenced by any opinions and decide for myself after finishing it—but I can say this: from the very first chapter, I was like, what am I even reading? Is it possible to not connect with a single character? They were all boring, like robots with just one assigned role. You’ll be the best friend, you’ll only exist for one chapter. Some things were way too obvious—for example, I immediately understood that the letter wasn’t from the mother. And then there were those birdcages, and the ring inside the cage… I don’t know, there was absolutely no chemistry between the two main characters. Zero romance. And honestly, we didn’t even get a proper “second chance” story. Blair felt like a teenager, and Declan was just… unclear as a character. The “just friends” trope also felt pointless. And for example, the whole Lottie situation felt rushed and underdeveloped. Honestly, I’ve realized not everyone is meant to be a writer—but if you already have a fanbase, becoming one seems pretty easy. I really wanted to like this book, but it didn’t even give the rom-com vibe I was hoping for. I only kept reading just to finish it, because from beginning to end, everything was so predictable. Somehow their problems would get resolved, and of course, it would end with a marriage proposal… It fell far below my expectations. I don’t think I’d recommend it—unless you enjoy boring romance stories.

Napoleonun hakimiyyətini qoruyan əsas mexanizm isə təbliğatdır.

This book is going to remind you one of Kafka's books, "The Metamorphosis". This time, a cockroach wakes up and finds itself in the body of the British Prime Minister. The book is a sharp and funny critique of politics, following the cockroach's efforts to pass a strange economic policy called "Reversalism." I absolutely loved this book! The sarcasm is wonderful and kept me engaged and finish it in a really short time. This was the first book I read by Ian McEwan, and I discovered him through a friend's recommendation. Since he is an author from the country where I live, it felt even more relevant and interesting. The writing is smooth and perfect for anyone who enjoys smart sarcasm.

I read Better Than the Movies and this book gave me nothing . Just a boring storyline, and nothing new. It was full of such cliché songs that everyone already knows. I understood that I can't believe other people's reviews. Because I read a bunch of them which said this book is interesting but I found absolutely nothing.
