Do you think that your emotions are normal towards Mr.R? You've been loving him since you were 13.You fell in love with him even though he was older than you and there were a lot of women around him. I remember that your mother decided to move to Innsbruck. You had resisted not to change cities for days. What was for? For your friend, your school.No, just Mr.R. Animal Farm
I already read the Turkish version of Animal Farm three or four years ago. Animal Farm is a captivating novel that draws you in. The language is clear, well-written and is easy to understand for the reader. I think everybody should read this book at least once in their lifetime. The central conflict starts with the desire of the animals for freedom and equality against the farm owner, and they took their freedom through a rebellion. Afterwards, the pigs take over of the farm. However, things do not go as the animals desire. Day by day, their living conditions worsen, and they can't even remember how life was before the rebellion. They simply assume it must have been worse when humans were in charge. And they kept their hope that everything would get better with time or that the pigs were doing their best for them. It’s a stunning book that enlightens readers to the truths of our lives and the systems by which countries are governed. I highly recommend this novel to everyone. You definitely won't be regret it.

Bu kitabın öncülü benim için çok ilgi çekiciydi ve en başından itibaren gerçekten ilgimi çekti. Çok kolay okunuyor ve hızlı okunuyor. Yani ırkçı değil insanca yaklaşacağım, en basit meselede bile ırkçılığını ya da en azından nefret ettiği ırkın karşı tarafında gördüğü, yakın bulduğu olayı , kişiyi empoze etmeye çalışıyor örneğin;

Kitabın diğer incelemelerini incelerken çoğu okurun eserden "Çocuk kitabı" diye bahsettiğini gördüm ve 
Çizgili Pijamalı Çocuk ile benzer bir karışıklılığa girdiğini fark ettim. Maalesef günümüzde eserlerin baş kahramanları çocuk olunca hemen çocuk kitabı etiketi yapıştırılıyor içeriği göz önünde bulundurulmadan. Çizgili Pijamalı Çocuk 'da olduğu gibi travmatik sahneler olmasa dahi, bir çocuğun belki anlamakta güçlük çekeceği alttan mesajlar ve metaforlar içeren bu eser şahsen her yetişkinin okumasını tavsiye ettiğim bir kitap.
Ben eseri orijinal dili olan İngilizceden okudum ve iyi ki kendi dilinde okumuşum diyorum. Çünkü yukarıda bahsettiğim metaforlar ve alttan mesajlar kendi dilinde anlaşılması daha kolay. Yayıncılığın yanlış veya eksik çevirmesinden kaynaklı bazı eksik anlaşılmalara yol açabilir. Lakin bu kitabı diliniz yoksa okumayın demek değil.
Eserin içeriğine gelirsek neden bu kadar ısrarla okunması gerektiğini açıklayayım. Günümüzde teknolojinin de hayatımıza girmesiyle insanoğlu elinde olanı ve sahip olduğu nimetleri bazen görmeyebiliyor ve bunun üstüne teknoloji ve sosyal medyayla kendine yeni dertler ediniyor, kendinde yeni eksiklikler buluyor. Kitap bize aslında elimizde olan özgürlüklerin ve doğamızda bulunan duyularımızı en önemlisi anıların, hatırların ve duyguların insanda ne kadar önemli bir yer kapladığını bize göstermekte.
Kitabın ana karakteri Jonas adında on iki yaşında bir çocuk. Jonas'ın yaşadığı topluluğun adı orijinal eserde "Sameness" (Aynılık, benzerlik) olarak geçiyor. Bu toplulukta insanların hiçbiri renkleri göremiyor, müzik gibi harmonik sesler yaşadıkları ortamda yok ve kimse müziğin kelime anlamından bile haberdar değil. Hava durumu her zaman açık ve "Güneşli" fakat bulundukları bölgede Güneş diye bir yıldız yok! Yaşayan insanlara zararlı olabileceğinden dolayı
