Harika bir olay örgüsüne sahip bu sene okuduğum en iyi kitaplardan biri… Olay örgüsü derken yani kesinlikle düz bir hikaye çizgisi beklemeyin. Karıştıracaksınız, alışacaksınız, şaşıracaksınız, üzüleceksiniz ve mutlu olacaksınız. Ya ben içeriğe dair hiçbir şey yazacağımı düşünmüyorum-düşünemiyorum yani bunu okumanız gerek ama hayatımda “ilmek ilmek işlenerek” kavramını kullanan ilk kitap bu galiba. İlk sayfasından son sayfasına kadar akıcı ve sürükleyiciydi. Galiba ciltli versiyonunu alacağım xx Diyecek birşey bulamıyorum ya. Kat’in hikayeyi bağladığı kısım görünce başlarda bu kadar rolü olacağını düşünmezdim. Z halbuki o kadar yakın olduklarını düşünmüyordu ama Kat ise Z’nin sandığından daha çok değer veren biriymiş. Hikayeyi sonlandıran aslında benim için Kat oldu <3 Mutlaka okuyun. Umarım bu kitap çevrilir kendine özgü harika bir maceraydı.

Percy'nin Annabeth'le birlikte New Rome Üniversitesine gidebilmesi için tanrılardan üç adet tavsiye mektunuba ihtiyacı var. Olimpostan gerekli üç tavsiye mektubunu kazanmak için Percy, Annabeth ve Kıvırcık üç görevi yerine getirmeye çalışacaklar.
Artık dünyayı kurtarma gibi dert olmadığından hikaye doğal olarak aynı drama ve epik mücadelelerle dolu değil. Bunun yerine müthiş eğlenceli(her zamanki gibi) ve oldukça aile tarzı bir macera var karşımızda.
'The Chalice Of The Gods'ın en sevdiğim yanı Jackson-Blofis ailesine ayrılan zamanın bolluğu. Percy'nin sonunda annesiyle rahatça vakit geçirebildiğini görmek harikaydı. Annabeth, Sally ve Paul'un dinamiklari de tek kelimeyle muhteşemdi. Poseidon'a da yeterince yer verilmişti tabii. Gerçekten aile odaklı bir bir kitap olmuş.
Ayrıca Ganymede'nin durumunun tartışılmasına da çok sevindim. Hem tanrılar hem de Percy tarafından.

Onca zaman sonra tekrar orijinal üçlümüzü bir arada görmek beni hiç ummadığım kadar duygulandırdı. Annabeth, Percy, Kıvırcık, her şey tam tamınaydı. Her şey yerli yerindeydi. Okurken çok güldüm, çok keyif aldım.
“Are you kidding?” He grinned at Annabeth. “A chance to do quests, just the three of us? Like old times? The Three Musketeers!”
“The Powerpuff Girls,” Annabeth suggested.
“Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey,” I said.

It started well but the middle 150 pages were the same… “i like him but i can’t tell him” “i love her but how can i tell her”… 150 pages of denying and trying to figure out how to the “fake relationship” thing go on..
When i First started i was thinking “i’m more of an enemies-to-lovers person, will i love my first non-fictionally friends-to-lover attempt? ”. And at the end I’ve closed the book with saying “i am definitely into an enemies-to-lovers trope ”
It wasn’t too bad to read. And to be honest when i hold it to read it i couldn’t believe how long i can read this book. Bc all of a sudden it’s been 10 pages. So it was a fast reading and a fine one. But not the “i love it” one
-1 point for 150 pages of same thing..
-0.5 point for lack of “DRAMA ”
(There can be problematic ex’es, new crushes, old dirty secrets etc)
And i must say i really like how it ended. It was real. Not everyone needs a full happy ending. every ending is not 100% perfect. Sometimes it is %80 perfect

I think it’s safe to say that this book had left a great impact on me. Our dear Addie, was a dreamer. She refused to have a simple life and found herself making a deal, with the Darkness (Luc).

I always thought I liked Schwab’s writing, but this book is just so unique with its wordings. I’m in love.
Luc plays with her. But Addie is too stubborn to give up, to stop seeing the wonders the world offers despite the pain. I think I love her for that the most.

Enter Henry.
I think he was lovely, annoying at times. He was a little bit too lost in his life. But I think he has a beautiful heart. I hate to admit that I was kinda bored when it switched to his POV. sorry.
And I’m so confused about Luc like, I can’t decide if I want to hit him with a brick or kiss him :D. He was a manipulative asshole, I heartless monster but at the sometime a kid who seeks attention.

Wow. That was amazing. I’m tired of saying that but this volume is my favourite. I have nothing to say. I’m speechless. Fear, sorrow and mercy. And of course so much battle. Guys, this book will make you see the other side of the situations. Human life is hard. If you’re a demon it’s even harder. Let’s not judge bad guys anymore. Maybe we can try to understand them. Anyway. It’s a fine piece of art. You should read it.
Stay strong
It was painful for me to finish it, and I have to finish it because unfortunately I bought it beacuse of all the hype. The story had so much potential but it didn’t meet my expectations with cringe worthy dialogues and boring storyline. Zahra’s behaviors were sometimes very rude towards her BOSS! And we were supposed to see it as an attractive trait and think “she is not like other girls”... Don’t get me started on my thoughts about Rowan... I don’t want to talk about this book anymore, I’m happy it finished at some point and ended my misery.
