Wow
“Do you want to do the honors, or should I?” Rowan said. Fenrys and Gavriel had risen to their feet, blades out as they monitored from a safe distance. Aelin held out her free hand, her palm scarred, and took the knife from him. A quick slice had her skin stinging, warm blood heating her seawater-sticky skin. Rowan had the knife a heartbeat later, and the scent of his blood filled her nose, set her senses on edge. But she extended her bloodied palm. Her magic swirled into the world with it, crackling in her veins, her ears. She reined in the urge to tap her foot on the ground, to roll her shoulders. “Slow,” Rowan repeated, as if sensing the hair-trigger that her power was now on, “and steady.” His shackled arm slid around her waist to hold her to him. “I’ll be with you every step of the way.” She lifted her head to study his face, the harsh planes and the curving tattoo. He leaned in to brush a kiss to her mouth. And as his lips met hers, he joined their bleeding palms. Magic jolted through her, ancient and wicked and cunning, and she arched against him, knees buckling as his cataclysmic power roared into her. All anyone on deck saw, she knew, was two lovers embracing. But Aelin tunneled down, down, down into her power, felt him doing the same with his, felt every ounce of ice and wind and lightning go slamming from him into her. And when it reached her, the core of his power yielded to her own, melted and became embers and wildfire. Became the molten heart of the earth, shaping the world and birthing new lands. Deeper and deeper, she went. Aelin had a vague sense of the ship rocking beneath them, felt the faint bite of the iron as it rejected her magic, felt the presence of Fenrys and Gavriel flickering around them like candles. It had been months since she’d drawn

You mountain is the block between you and the life you want to live. Facing it is also the only path to your freedom and becoming. You are here because a trigger showed you to your wound, and your wound will show you to your path, and your path will show you to your destiny.
Let's go Free them
She’s holding the pistol wrong. Even I know that. It’s too big for her, made of shimmering black metal, with a barrel nearly a foot long. Better suited to a trained soldier rather than a shivering, slight teenage girl. A soldier, I realize with cold clarity. A Silver. It’s the same kind of gun a Sentinel shot me with, so long ago in the cells deep beneath the Hall of the Sun. The bullet felt like a blow from a hammer and went straight through my spine. I would’ve died if not for Julian and a blood healer under his control. In spite of my ability, I raise my hands, palms open in surrender. I’m the lightning girl, but I’m not bulletproof. But she takes this as a threat instead of submission, and tenses, her finger itching too close to the trigger. “Don’t move,” she hisses, daring to take another step toward me. Her skin, the dark, rich color of blackwood bark, offers her perfect camouflage in the forest. And yet, I see the red bloom beneath, and the tiny scarlet veins webbing the whites of each eye. I gasp to myself. She’s Red. “Don’t bleeding think about it.” “I won’t,” I tell her, tipping my head. “But I can’t speak for him.” Her brows furrow in confusion. She doesn’t have time to be afraid. Shade appears behind her, solidifying out of thin air, and wraps her up in an expert military hold. The gun falls from her grasp, and I snatch it before it can hit the rocky ground. She fights, snarling, but with Shade’s arms firmly locked behind her head, she can’t do much more than sink to her knees. He follows, keeping her firmly in hand, his mouth set in a grim line. A scrawny girl is no match for him. The gun feels foreign in my hand. It’s not my chosen form of weapon—I’ve never even shot one before. I almost laugh at that. To come so far without even firing a gun. “Get

This doesn’t get talked about much, but some people with misophonia experience uncomfortable sensations in the genitals when they hear a trigger sound. It is also a common experience in obsessive compulsive disorder and the OCD advocacy community often refer to it as the ‘groinal response’. These sensations are unwanted and unpleasant. It can include sensations like tingling, swelling or pulsing. It can be part of an anxiety or disgust response, and can also be brought on simply by thinking about it happening, which means that if you check to see if you have the feeling, the act of checking might actually bring on the feeling. If you can relate to this, please know that you are not alone. It is not a sexual feeling and it is not something to be ashamed of. It can help to think of this as your body trying to protect you from contamination and harm. Thank your body for trying to protect you and focus back on what you would rather be doing. You do not need to do anything more, it will pass on its own.
Mizofonisi olan kişiler diğerlerinden daha iyi duymuyor
Surprisingly, there does not seem to be any compelling evidence of any major differences in hearing function between those with and without misophonia. You might have excellent hearing yourself, but it doesn’t seem to be a common trait in misophonia. In a study at Concordia University in Montreal, researchers compared two groups (high and low misophonia traits) in a test where they had to identify neutral, unpleasant and trigger sounds that were masked by another sound. Both groups were able to identify trigger sounds more easily than unpleasant sounds, and both of those more easily than neutral sounds. However, there was no difference between the high and low misophonia groups in how easily they detected trigger sounds. The main difference between the groups was that those with high misophonia had a more negative emotional reaction to the sound, but that intensified only once they identified what the sound was, suggesting that it’s not just the acoustic properties of the sound that causes the reaction. That is, you are likely to react more strongly to the sound once you know what it is.
