Renksiz Tsukuru Tazaki'nin Hac Yılları

The book is not tied to an end, the end is left to the reader. Some of the questions were not answered. That's why it's 7/10. This novel is about a man named Tsukuru Tazaki whose surname does not have any color name in it. He used to have 4 other friends and throughout the book he addressed them as "white" "black" "blue" and "red". One day, they all cut him out of the group without any reason. After 16 years Tsukuru (36) meets a woman named Sara (38) and Sara tells him that he should contact his old friends and ask about that incident. She feels like somehow he could not get over what he went through. He decides to find them and talk and guess what? !Spoiler below! You could actually never guess because it was all slander. "White" said that Tsukuru raped her and the others (even though they didn't believe her) agreed to cast out Tsukuru. " "White" had psychological issues and they wanted to support her this way. We don't know why she said such a thing and chose Tsukuru as a victim though.

Bugün bir anda oturup Junji Ito okuyacağım dedim ve kısa hikaye derlemesi olan iki kitabını okudum. Bu derleme bence

Dissolving Classroom 'dan çok daha iyi. Dissolving Classroom'da hikayeler birbiriyle bağlantılı, ana karakterler aynı fakat bu kitapta hikayelerin birbiriyle alakası yok. Hikayelerin hepsini beğendim, (bir yazar ve yazarın fanıyla alakalı olan hikaye hariç) özellikle Black Bird ve Whispering Woman hikayeleri oldukça iyiydi. Keşke bir anda hepsini bitirmeyip yavaş yavaş okusaydım ama olan oldu artık.

We have talking animals, thousands of infernals, a cult of sentient infernals, a mysterious building, the Tabernacle, that looks exactly like Amaterasu, and many other things. It was a lot to take in but I really liked it, especially the part with Shinra and the Woman in Black. It was also very funny that Arthur was the one who thought of Pi instead of Licht. After learning a lot of things about Amaterasu, Tokyo, Holy Sol Temple and the Evangelist, our characters are ready to head back and finally face the Church.

3/5 Stars (%64/100) Though I am not a huge fan of Alice Walker, I have to accept that she is still extremely important in American literature. This is a short story I've read a while ago and the following paragraph is taken from an essay that I wrote. Maggie is nervous and shy, and the narrator is also excited and kind of nervous about this reunion. However, from the moment Dee comes with Hakim, you sense something is off. She has gone crazy about looking at everything as art. Since she is also a black woman, she seems to make an extreme effort displaying herself as an artist. In the end, she embarrasses herself more than before with these extreme artistic behaviours. She insults her sister and tries to belittle her. She fights with her mother over something simple and then leaves. After Dee leaves, the narrator and Maggie enjoy their time together. Maggie is not full of fear anymore and the mother’s happiness is not dependent on Dee.
