The Stranger is a short but powerful novel written by Albert Camus, first published in 1942. It tells the story of a man named Meursault, who seems emotionally distant and disconnected from the world around him. The story begins with the death of Meursault’s mother. Unlike most people, he does not cry or show sadness. This shocks others and makes them judge him. Later in the story, he gets involved in a violent situation and kills a man. During his trial, the court focuses more on his cold personality than the actual crime. In the end, he is sentenced to death. The book ends with Meursault accepting his fate, realizing that life has no clear meaning — and that’s okay. The main theme of the novel is “absurdism” – the idea that life is often without meaning and humans must accept this without relying on religion or traditional beliefs. Camus shows that people are sometimes punished not for what they do, but for not behaving the way society expects. I would only recommend The Stranger to people who are really interested in existential philosophy, or who want to read something different and challenging. If you like fast-paced stories, strong emotions, or realistic characters, this book may not be the right choice.

OMG! OMG! OMG! THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL DARK ROMANCE! THE END IS NOT AN ORDINARY HEA. PLEASE BE ADVISED! This book satisfied of my both sides. I love dark romance and thrillers. It's a mix of dark romance with thriller and action. Let's talk about this book! It's a satisfying read but that's not it. Of course, it has minor plot holes, however, they are keeping a low profile when it comes to thinking about the plot overall. I can't get over it, oh my goodness. Kayla has lost her husband and received a letter from a stranger. And it looks like a love letter, btw. And she desperately wrote him back. Also, she has some problems with her house. So that her husband died, she needs to handle the problems on her own. She calls handymen. Only one of them returned her calls. That is Aiden. He is the opposite of her husband, however, she finds him attractive at first sight. She hired him for the roof and then fired him. Things get complicated and they have perfect chemistry at the end. She is his " Sweet Bunny Rabbit " and he is her " Lion King ". They are so cute and sexy. Oh Lord, those spicy scenes . I love every one of them. Meanwhile, her house problems are not done. Eerie things keep happening all the time. And her housekeeper suggested a different solution for the problem. That entangled everything. Oh My God! This is the best part. I'm not gonna spoil it. That's why I'm not saying anything from now on. Please go and read it and thank me later.

"A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara ripped my heart to shreds. So devastating and powerful." Four boyfriends who met in college: Willem, who is kind, handsome, and wants to pursue a career in acting. JB, who wants to quickly break into the art world, is intelligent but sometimes heartless. Malcolm, an architect with a wealthy family who has failed to realize his dreams. At the center of this group of friends is Jude, a lawyer and complete stranger. Over the years, the foursome's friendship transforms and deepens with addiction, fame, and arrogance. The biggest challenge the three friends face is standing by their friend Jude, who is severely wounded, both physically and emotionally. Jude's childhood traumas that he cannot overcome will affect his entire life, and his friends will do everything they can to keep him alive. A touching, magnificent story of friendship, love, and heartbreak... "Exquisite... To call this novel a masterpiece would be an understatement. In fact, the word would be an understatement." San Francisco Chronicle "Marvelous... Trauma and friendship are explored with such astuteness and depth of understanding that this book will become the benchmark for all novels written on the subject." The Wall Street Journal "A Life Without Traces is like no other novel. It transcends boundaries, goes beyond boundaries, and is simply unforgettable." The Independent "It gets to you. Yanagihara has the ability to probe the basest and most exalted extremes of human behavior with an intensity that is searing." The Times Literary Supplement

My mother died today, maybe yesterday, I don't know. (The stranger) What's the point of living if life is so absurd? (Sisyphus said) Life is meaningless but worth living. According to Albert Camus, philosophy has only one problem and that is suicide. According to Camus, it is not possible to understand this world. When thought like this, existence is unnecessary and in this case suicide occurs, but according to Camus, suicide is not a solution to this. We are human beings and we search for the meaning of life, and this is where the concept of absurdism emerges. The dictionary meaning of absurdism is empty justification and does not comply with logic. Its philosophical meaning is that there is a break between human consciousness and the world. So, what are the triggering factors that reveal absurdism? Your life monotony, the passing of time, alienation, loneliness, anxiety and the inevitability of death. When we look at these factors, suicide seems attractive to us, but Albert Camus offers us three main ways to survive in life, the first of which is suicide. Existence is meaningless, then we should all perish, but Albert Camus expresses that suicide is an easy giving up. The second is to hope. It's like hoping that there is a creator. If there is a God who creates everyone, then life has a meaning or holding on to the existence of family and loved ones, but Camu rejects this too because Camu does not believe in God and our loved ones will die one day is an illusion for the last one, and the third one rebels. As an example, I would like to tell you about Albert Camus book Sisyphus said. In Greek mythology, Sisyphus is a king who rebelled against the gods and was punished by them. His punishment was to drag a huge rock to the top of the mountain, but the rock fell again

an alternative story/ending for The Stranger by Albert Camus… i can’t decide whether i prefer A Happy Death or The Stranger. this one is existentialism in its purest form and the latter is absurdism in its purest form.. i wrote a whole ass thesis on this, i’m sick of it so i’ll just shut up. (but i feel like The Stranger wins by a hair.)

Şuna bir bakın (Türkçe çevirisi elimde mevcut değil maalesef ancak merak eden olursa hemen çevirebilirim): "Tryphaena’s cohorts, spurred on by the hysterical screaming of her maids, prepared to attack us with their bare hands. Only the pilot remained aloof, cursing the whole fracas as the lunatic work of a mob of perverts and threatening to abandon his post unless we stopped immediately.
