☆ Why i Read - This Novel is famous and it was something different from which i read earlier so i choose this book to read. ☆ What i Read - "Rebel" & "Communism" the true meaning of this words is explained by author in this book with the help of animal characters. - It consist a story of Manor farm where large number of animal lived and it is handled and controlled by Mr.Jones. - One night the major (The oldest pig in farm) held a meeting in farm and told his words towards the owner of the farm (which was doing torture to all animals) which was enough to cause rebellion movement among the animal of farm. - Saying was - Four legs good, two legs bad. - Later unity among the animal, kick the manor and his men out of farm. Farm name was changed from manor farm to animal farm , It was the only farm which was controlled by animal itself. - work and food was all controlled by pig's as it was the intelligent animal from all, pigs used to all benefits for free which sometimes lead to betrayal to other animals. - This book show about the communism & Rebel movement around the animal, where some animal are treated specially from others animal, it shows the same behavior of men during the communism ( Soviet Union ) in russia - this was the main motive of the book to make people understand that in communism big people with there powers treat small people wrongly. My best of all was horse named Boxer. ( I will work harder till death - Boxer ) Beasts of England song is still in air. Thank you.

The idea of reward/penalty mechanisms actually impair the performance is a very groundbreaking. It has the potential to change our society, how you deal with your employees, kids and even yourself. And it is a step in the right direction moving away from cold, mechanical, autocratic corporate culture of industrial age. However, although I full agree with Pink on the problem, the solution needs more consideration. How can I motivate my employees without providing any carrot/stick? Pink's answer to this (engaging employees and awakening the natural curiosity within them) is not very practical and satisfying. In an organization of more than thousand people, eliminating the classical penalty/reward schemes may cause chaos. Finally, the book is very structured. Especially the summary and glossary at the end is useful.
