Now that I have finished reading “ the silent patient”, I am very amazed by the ability of the author who truly made me shocked at the end of the story that he happens to call psychological detective story… people prefer calling this book a novel but I bet it doesn’t last too long after reading the book or coming to an end that was shockingly twisted. Spoiler - The therapist would be the last person to be suspicious of as he made it sound very normal and approached to every scene and detail as a therapist whose main job is to help people. BUT never mind, nothing is the way it seems like in this life, Turkish people say if everything was the way it seemed like then water from sea would appear blue in our hands. This is what I felt when seeing the truth, the kind of truth I wouldn’t be able to imagine if Theo, the therapist didn’t reveal if at the end of the story. Or should I say the beginning of an end ? Do stories truly end or what we call “ ending” is a beginning of a new chapter…. He approached and had written it in a way that made him sound look or even appear like a “ real therapist” who carry feelings of morality, depth, integrity and truly has compassion and eager to help people who are in trouble… like Alicia….. A person, a human being, an artist who was mentally sick as the members of Grove called…. She was a psycho in their interpretations…. But who knows what drew her to kill him? Who truly has enough empathy to try to understand what she went through to do such a thing rather than being as anyone else and calling her a “ bitch” how easy it must be to call someone that… when you don’t know anything except what police officers or investigators say… As people or human beings who immediately call someone “guilty” without giving it a try to understand or

“The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” – childhood isn’t just a memory, it’s a feeling to be lived. While reading this book, you don’t just follow Tom—you run after him, get lost in his wild ideas, and feel the thrill of being young and fearless. Every page is filled with freedom, boundless imagination, and the pure spirit of childhood. If you’re an adult, it awakens the child inside you. If you’re young, it reminds you how special that moment in life truly is. As you read, daily worries seem to fade away, replaced by adventure, friendship, and courage born out of curiosity. Seeing the world through Tom’s eyes brings both nostalgia and a fresh joy for life. This book isn’t just a story—it’s the journey of the little adventurer we all carry within us.

I was unsure as to my rating of the book. It truly flowed very easily, and it was written in a simple but good language. I liked the way chapters were connected but also far apart in time and still everything in the story itself made sense. The characters and plot is a whole other story. At the start what promised to be a good character development failed for me. Connell’s story and portrayal was quite realistic, with nice scenes that helped the reader understand him. However, I cannot say the same for Marianne. I love her, truly, and that’s why I was even more disappointed. By the end it seemed to me that she was solely created for the purpose of shaping Connell’s life. At times it is as if she is not a human even, just a random object to hold together his feelings and emotions. She is at first intelligent, and has strong political opinions. Then all that is gone. I understand what is trauma, and it would be perfectly fine her stopping to express her views, but trauma doesn’t make things vanish. Your feelings, your opinions, whether muted or strong they are still inside you. One moment Marianne is full and intelligent, the other moment she is blank like a robot reset. And the whole situation with the family abuse and hate, but them still supporting her financially, allowing her to use their homes and summer villas, was even more unrealistic. It’s my first time seeing such supportive abusers. This is just my personal opinion, and obviously at the end I was quite unsure whether I liked the book or not.

What a nice and attractive book! "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller really affected me. It tells the story of an aging salesman who feels he hasn’t succeeded in life. He believes deeply in the “American Dream”—the idea that being popular and well-liked will bring him success. But as his dreams don’t come true, he feels lost and disappointed, and I felt sad seeing him struggle this way. Ot was really heartbreaking for a reader. The play explores themes like the pressure to succeed, family expectations, and social pressure on a person, and I felt disappointed about the reality of the American Dream. It showed me how society’s high expectations can sometimes harm our sense of who we are. The ending is powerful and sad, showing how the obsession with success and the American Dream ultimately destroys someone's life and leaves his family in pain.

Character C, the main character of the book, loses his mother at the age of 1. His aunt Zehra takes care of him and he feels her aunt's attention and guidance. His father is a rich and flirtatious man. He doesn't love his father and even waits for him to die .While after seeing her aunt and her father in an inappropriate moment, her father hits the ear hard and this creates a great trauma in the idle man in the coming years.Character C does not enjoy paper bags either. When he comes home for dinner, which is repeated every day, the paper bags he takes home seem like a boring, static symbol of marriage. His indifference towards women is also inherited from his father. He searches for someone like his aunt Zehra throughout his life. He searches for a hold, he searches for the meaning of life in a woman, and this is how our character sets off.. Character C, who is disappointed in the women who came into his life at different times and in different places, notices character B, whom he knew a little before. If he had followed her path a long time ago, this story would have already ended. He sees her once again, but just as he chases after her, B disappears into the crowd. The idle man remains alone and devoid of love in the crowd.

️ (a million stars) “I’ll be seeing ya, Molloy.” “You’ve been the best part of my day everyday since I was twelve years old.” “Don’t worry Peter Pan, I’ll be your Wendy.” This series is my life! Nothing will ever compare to this series for me. I love Joey & Aoife! It was both lovely and heartbreaking to read their story. I’m SO happy Joey got his happy ending. It was 1000+ pages but it was easy to read because I LOVE THEM! This book follows the same timeline as Binding 13 so a lot of the scenes were the same especially from the middle part to the end but this time it was from Joey and Aoife’s perspective. I have to say I literally screamed when Johnny Kavanagh entered the scene in this book! I missed him so much! He’s something else… The traumatic scenes were really heavy and hard to read, but both of them fought with all their might to make it through. I got so emotional reading Joey and Aoife’s journey from being best friends since 12 years old to having a family of their own. This is one of the most beautiful series and I can’t wait for Claire and Gibsie’s story and going back to Ballylaggin again! “Ollie, Tadgh and Sean all hurried into the kitchen then with backpacks on their backs. All three of them went straight to Joey. Because he was OUR PROTECTOR. He was the reason we were all in one piece. HE WAS OUR HERO.”
