Definitely check it out
4/5 Stars (%78/100) Honestly, I was not expecting it to be this good. I was prejudiced thinking that it would be like all the other books that deal with the problem of identity and finding your place in the world. However, I admit that I was wrong. It is much more than that. First of all, I loved the use of the supernatural in the book. Ultima is the wise guide archetype in the story but she is also very realistic despite her "powers." Anaya beautifully placed Ultima into this world. She is definitely my favorite character in the book and I loved her interaction between others, especially Antonio. Antonio is not all bad either. I usually end up disliking the main characters but he was really good. He is very similar to Stephen Daedalus in my opinion. The smart kid who tries to find his place in the world. (Not only because of his mixed blood) Some of the parts were difficult to read because of Spanish. It would be weird without them too I think. I have mixed feelings about this. Also, I got kind of bored in some parts, I found the book a bit long. However, the ending of the book was brilliant. Even I would cry at the end if I was not heartless and cold. I really liked it in general.

I wanna write my review about this book. But I wanna write another thing at first. I really liked this book. According to me, in general, such kind of level books can’t give you feelings. (If you are bookworm, you’ll understand what I wrote.) It was third book which really gave me feelings. While I was reading this book, I felt like I was reading

Aşk ve gurur ile Uğultulu Tepeleri Karşılaştırdım, keyifli okumalar :)
Comparison Between Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights  There are many authors who show us 18th century British society. While some of the authors glorify the community life in the 18th century, some of them criticize the century by their strict rules about the women and social discriminations. Undoubtedly, Emily Bronte and Jane Austen are

Every book I read from this author makes me feel different emotions and I love that! ‘Blood to Dust’ was different from her other books I’ve read: it was more violent, bloody and hardcore! Prescott is a rich man’s daughter who ends up meeting with very wrong people and suffers a lot. When she decides to take revenge from them, she gets caught and

Actually it is a heartbroken love story shaped as poems.. When you know that, it is easier to read. The writer falls in love at seventeen, has two kids but man leaves.. woman writes her sorrow, put her bad feelings and emotions in words.. that’s it (:

Let's get this straight, Rina Kent is a woman who loves villains. And so do I, which is why I love most of her books. I've come across a lot of bad reviews about her books, but I have to say this. If you can't read dark romance, don't read it! This type of book is not for everyone. Now about the book, I think I fell in love. You know when you read a fantasy book, it takes you away, and this was such a book, but it tells about the unusual love of two university students. One of my favorite parts of the book was the part where Killian tells Glyndon that he can't give her the love she wants because he doesn't have such feelings, but he will burn the world for Glyndon and even burn himself. You know there's a saying, "It's okay if he doesn't say I love you", exactly like that! Honestly, the reason why this part touched me so much is that I am psychologically ill like Killian. I can't feel certain emotions like him and I think "What if I can't love?", but I realized that love is not the only thing that is necessary...

This is a powerful book by a truly insightful author. I recently read Harari's previous great book, Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, and I enjoyed this one just as much. There is so much packed into Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow, that it is hard to do justice to the book in a review. Yuval Harari has such a unique insight into
