THE ROLE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN FRANKENSTEIN
Mary Shelley, who wrote Frankenstein, was the daughter of Mary Wollstonecraft, a famous women's rights activist, and William Godwin, a philosopher and political writer. The author wrote the book in 1818 when she was twenty-one years old. The book is still relevant, still being read and remade into films. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a

The Fatal Eggs is a science-fiction novella by Mikhail Bulgakov, a Soviet novelist and playwright whose most famous work is The Master and Margarita. It was written in 1924 and first published in 1925. The book became quite popular, but was much criticized by some Soviet critics as a satire of the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the leadership of

4/5 Stars (%79/100) Before starting my review, I finished the anime (Netflix series) yesterday and decided to read the manga for: 1)Everyone on the internet said the manga is much better and that the series is disappointing 2)I actually enjoyed the show and wanted to see what happens next I would say this is a pretty good introduction to the series. The story is very straightforward: Gods decide the fate of humans every 1000 years and this time they decide to end their existence. One Valkyrie, Brunnhildr, proposes Ragnarok, a battle royale kind of tournament, and the gods accept. In Ragnarok, 13 gods and 13 humans will fight each other to death. The story is simple but the series does not want more than that. The important thing is the unique characters, character design (especially gods), and pure action. Overall, I really liked it and it is detailed than the show. It reminds me of Fate series and The God of Highschool. The first fight is between Thor and Lu Bu (Ryofu Housen) a very famous Chinese warrior. Both of these men remind me of Saitama, Kenpachi and many other OP characters from anime. I can't wait to read the next volume.

The 8th book of the ‘Chicago Stars’ series was the story of ex-quarterback Cooper Graham and private detective Piper Dove. It was like SEP’s other books, a good, romantic novel where two seemingly very different characters fall in love with each other. After his retirement as a famous footballer, Cooper opens a very famous night club and decides

John Barth is the most important postmodernist novelist and his works of art fiction and reality somehow is complicated. It becomes difficult to decide which one is real and which one is fiction. Blurring and uncertainty is so immense that sometimes it is problematic to understand what is happening and what is going on this story. In the story we

4/5 Stars (%80/100) I was not familiar with any of these writers, well, maybe Akutagawa. There was an anime about famous Japanese writers and Akutagawa was one of them. This is actually why I was interested in this book. However, the other writers and their stories were also really interesting. The first one (Behind the Prison) by Nagai Kafu was really depressing and sad. It is simply about a man's letter to someone whom he calls "Excellency." However, the language and the tone were beautiful and I underlined lots of sentences. The second one was a bit complicated for me and I was really tired at that time so I might give it a go later. Akutagawa's story was also really interesting but shorter than I expected. I think this book is a good introduction to these writers. These men have lots of short stories so I suggest you check them after reading this.

I first read Great Expectations when I was thirteen years old. It was the first of Dickens' works that I'd read of my own volition, the only other being Oliver Twist, which we'd studied parts of in school. You know, I missed out on a lot when I was thirteen. I favoured fast-paced and gritty stories and didn't understand the love for Austen (later
