As we learn more about Casca, it is evident that she is also charmed by Griffith in a manner similar to Guts. Griffith becomes this messiah figure and everyone seems to worship him. He kind of reminds me of Paul Atreides as an anti-hero (we can call him that, at least for now). Casca and Guts' relationship deepens but Guts also realizes that he has no dreams whatsoever meaning he can never be Griffith's equal. On the surface, we see all these fight scenes with beautiful art but in the background there are lots of philosophical things. We are picking up the pace!
