There are 3 forms of love. Because, if and despite. I didn't love you because or if I didn't love you under the name. I loved you with love in spite of it. I loved you despite everything and instead of saying why we can't be, I'm glad now. I'm glad you gave me these beautiful memories.. You will definitely be happy with someone, you will marry someone and lay your head on the same pillow with someone and you will see your children every morning when you wake up. While you are having a happy Sunday breakfast, I will love you again under the moonlight. I wish not, glad you were there. I am glad that you are in the most beautiful place of my memories and I met you in the best time of my life. Thank you for everything. And as long as I know you're okay out there somewhere, I'll always be okay. And I say it first and not for the last time. I love you moon piece.
I love the dynamics of negotiation. Skillful negotiators, of which I am among the best, are forceful, persistent, perceptive and patient. I thrive on seeking out and defining my opponent's comfort zone, that imaginary box (…), and then placing an offer on the inside rim of that comfort zone closest to my own best interests. "The Picture of Dorian Gray" from my point
The Picture Of Dorian Gray
The Picture Of Dorian Gray
Example of an Victorian gothic horror...Greatest novel about decadence, sin and aestheticism....Also, such an inspring novel and full of literary creativity. It's been common to see haunted portraits in Gothic Literature as in The Oval Portrait (Edgar Allan Poe), The Judge's House (Bram Stoker), and Picture in the House (H.P. Lovecraft). I'm in love with the language and rhetoric of the author. Wilde achieved to show us how he created modern Faust with this one. As we can see, Dorian Gray's transformation from an innocent shy painter's fancy-sick lust to heartless villain is engraved on his soul without any blemish on his pure face. In the preface, Wilde states "there is no such thing as a moral or immoral book" which he quoted later as “The books that the world calls immoral are books that show the world its own shame.” There are 3 main characters in the book which I appreciate a lot, since more can be confusing for me. Wilde even affiliates himself with the characters by commenting “Basil Hallward is what I think I am: Lord Henry is what the world thinks of me: Dorian is what I would like to be—in other ages, perhaps.” after the publication. The masterpiece still remains like a monument to the power of vanity, the hope of love, and the tyrannic decay of the human soul. I can't wait to reading the novel again and watching film adaptations.

3/5 Stars (%55/100) In my review of the previous volume, I expressed my ideas by saying that I don't understand why people like this new arc regarding Yuki going rogue. I still think it was super cheap to use him in this new arc just to make things complicated. (they needed something to make Father relevant again) At least this volume was a bit better than the last. However, I hope they will soon realize their mistake and don't ruin this beautiful manga. I really like Noragami mainly because it deals with serious issues and it is for adults compared to other mangas that I've read. I am still waiting for new chapters but I guess they took a break because of the pandemic.

3/5 Stars (%58/100) What I am going to write is pretty similar to what I wrote for the previous volume even though the events are completely different. The fight scenes are fun and creative but storywise, nothing much happened once again. Gowther, the Sin of Lust, joins and that means 5 out 7 of the Sins are here (which is pretty quick since we are only in the 8th volume). I like it in general (I mean the series as well) but I am still not sure about the story. Hopefully, it will be fixed in the following volumes.

Ty, I've thought so many times about what I would say to you if you reappeared suddenly. If I was walking along the street and you popped out of thin air, walking along beside me like you always used to, with your hands in your pockets and your head tilted back. Mom used to say you walked celestially, looking upat the sky as if you were scanning the clouds for angels. Do you remember that? In your world I am ashes, I am ancestors, my memories and hopes and dreams have gone to build the City of Bones. In your world, I am lucky, because I do not have to live in a world without you. But in this world, I am you. I am the twinless twin. So I can tell you this: When your twin leaves the earth you live on, it never turns the same way again: the weight of their soul is gone, and everything is off balance. The world rocks under your feet like an unquiet sea. I can't tell you it gets easier. But it does get steadier; you learn how to live with the new rocking of the new earth, the way sailors gain sea legs. You learn. I promise. I know you're not exactly the Ty I had in this world, my brilliant, beautiful brother. But I know from Julian that you are beautiful and brilliant too. I know that you are loved. I hope that you are happy. Please be happy. You deserve it so much. I want to ask if you remember the way we used to whisper words to each other in the dark: star, twin, glass. But I'll never know your answer. So I'll whisper to myself as I fold this letter up and slide it into the envelope, hoping against hope it will somehow reach you. I whisper your name, Ty. I whisper the most important thing: I love you. I love you. I love you. Livvy

4/5 Stars (%82/100) After checking out my notes and thinking about the book, I realized that the book deserves at least 4 stars. The reason my initial rating was low is that I was actually too dumb to realize its worth. The book is very complicated. Probably one of the most complicated books I've ever read. The reasons why this book is very complicated but also great: 1) The plot, character, and pretty much everything else is different. It has lots of postmodern elements and is, consequently, different than your usual, traditional books. 2) Non-linear plotline. 3) A story within a story. There seems to be two stories in the book. One is historical and about Dresden and the other one is sci-fi adventure story. 4) Both of these stories are very different than traditional ones so it makes it two times more difficult. 5) Reading sci-fi is not easy and this sci-fi time travel postmodern story is even more difficult. 6) Characters, especially the protagonist, are very mysterious and odd. These are some of the things that I remember but I am sure there are many more. This book is not for everyone! If you like to be confused and think A LOT about a book, this is it for you. If you don't like mysteries and prefer traditional way of telling stories, leave now. I definitely need to read this book again.

4/5 stars (%78/100) I've read the book many years ago in Turkish. I had to read it again because I am taking an art course. I was surprised by the fact that I've missed many important points in my first reading. You'll realize that the book is extremely autobiographical when you read about Joyce's life. Therefore, in a sense, this is a book that explains how Joyce himself became an artist. As it is quite obvious from the title that the book is essentially about being an artist. Our protagonist is an Irish boy named Stephen Dedalus. (Yes, the great craftsman Daedalus and the father of Icarus.) The book seems to be a bildungsroman too. We meet a very young Stephen at the beginning of the book and in the end, he is an adult. The time in the book is somewhat vague but you can understand that it covers about 15 years. (5-year-old Stephen to 20ish) Yes, the book is about being an artist or what it means to be an artist. However, it is also about growing up and discovering an identity for yourself. Being in a household where everyone is Catholic, (especially Stephen's mother) Stephen is highly "interested" in religion. The biggest obstacle for Stephen on his way to being an artist is religion. Chapter 3, especially, deals with Stephen's ideas about religion and art. Overall, it is a great book discovering your true self and chasing your dreams. If the thing you really want to do requires sacrifices, then you have to do it. Bravo, James Joyce!

In both of the earlier scenarios, not having enough a good enough plan and model will lead to failure. A good way to practice communication modeling is to write out a model for manipulating people you know well—a husband, wife, parent, child, boss, or friend—to do something you want, to take some action you desire. Edgar Allan Poe
Edgar Allan Poe
Edgar Allan Poe was an author I always wanted to read but never found the right time to read. The story at the beginning was so adorable because I also had a cat, and I identified him with myself, but I didn't think that the sequel could be like this. Out of amazement, I read the same sentence over and over and even questioned my English for a while. "...cut one of its eyes from the socket..." I read this sentence over and over again, looking at the meanings of the words over and over to prove I had misread it because my mind couldn't quite grasp such a brutal situation, or rather, I didn't want to understand it. And I never thought that the cat would take revenge in the end, I laughed a lot at the end with this side. It was a tragi-comic story. It was like nightmares that suddenly woke you up at 3 am by jumping out of bed. I have read the author's poems as well as his stories and in general, his style was full of horror, tragedy, and tension. In addition, his fluency in the written language made me more connected to the story.
