Well, this was annoying. She talked about how little, small, petite she was and how big, strong, tall Joshua was in EVERY single f*cking page. I wanted to slap her for her 'i am a small girl and i need a big man to protect me attitude.' She was spoiled and he was overprotective, but not in a cute way. She was hurt by his snarky comments and name picking but wasn't that how it was supposed to do? I mean they hated each other and they were trying to make each other miserable. She was also being sarcastic and mean. So, why did he become the bad guy here? The book is called The Hating Game but they were even not playing after like 40-50 pages after the kiss. She was totally in love and didn't even bother to hide it. How couldn't she see he was in love too when she saw his apartment? It makes zero sense. There was absolutely no reason, no hate for them not be lovers at that point. She suddenly turned into a horny teenager and her crazy horniness was so embarrassing. She never tried to show him how he cared about him and she only objectified him i felt sad for the guy. And weren't they supposed to be rivals at work and fall in love while they were messing with each other according to the trope. So, what was all this about? It felt like the writer took 3 different tropes and combined them to make a different book(!). I'm sorry but she messed up. The only part I loved was their little dirty road trip conversation. It was both cute and hot.

Kitabı az önce bitirdim. Sevgi, tutku, kin, nefret... bütün duygular bir arada ve ince ince işlenmiş. Karakterler çok sağlam ve güçlü. Oldukça sürükleyici bir kitap. Kendine böyle bağlayan etkileyici kitaplar çok nadirdir. Jarakterlerden nefret ediyorsunuz ama bir o kadar da seviyorsunuz.
Kitapta da karakterler arasında da aynı durum söz konusu.

I choose this book because when I was a child it was one of my favorite book. It is not boring and enjoyable, full of adventures. And it is easy to understand as a first leaner of a language. "The Last Day of a Condemned Man” is a quite powerful read about a subject that (I have to admit) I haven’t thought much about before: The Death Penalty. This is also the first book I read by Victor Hugo and now I am definitely interested in reading more of his Works like Les Miserable as soon as possible!
It may be a short read, but it is by no means an easy one. It is Not necessarily enjoyable in the usual sense, the book is an important and powerful work in opposition to the death penalty. It reads like the thoughts and journal of a condemned man in France, who is given six weeks to live. The reader is forced to delve into the thoughts and fears of a man that we never really get to know in a sense; we are told very little about his life, and told practically nothing about the crime he has committed that has led him to prison and to be sentenced to death. But that is Hugo's point -- that capital punishment is so inhumane that it should not matter the crime, or the details, or who a person is, only that the sentence is so cruel and unusual that it should not be an option.
What I like about this book is: it is short, to the point, well-composed, and philosophical. The writer did an extraordinary job at portraying the final thoughts of a prisoner condemned to death while also bringing the reader into the grim world of a 19th Century prison.
As long as you are curious what we can feel in such a situation, the Last Day of a Condemned should fully meet your expectations!

She always thinks about Chris. Chris represents Christianity or American Dream. Chris has died, but according to Erica, he is alive.Inreality, Chris (Christianity) is dream like American Dream.
America exploits some areas/cities. While he does it, he uses Christianity as a powerful weapon.Christianity is only tool for exploitation.Similarly, Erica makes Changez miserable.There is only Chris for Erica. She always remembers the memories of Chris and herself. While Changez falls in love with her, he even wants to marry her, Changez is only good friend for her.
