Own The Day, Own Your Life
Tek bir gün hayatınız gibidir. Her parça birbiriyle bağlantılıdır, yaptığınız her seçim gelecekte yapacağınız seçimleri etkiler.
-When things get tough you must get tougher and you can.
As Dr. Robert Schuller said, “Tough times never last, but tough people do.” So if you find your faith slipping or you find yourself running low on this great motor power which accomplishes so many wonderful things, you can do something about it. The following exercise works for me—it has for years and I know it will work for you too.
You can build huge reservoirs of mental power by simply employing a daily autosuggestive technique, for the acquisition and the strengthening of this greatest and most necessary of all human attributes—Faith.
Sayfa 84 - An autosuggestive technique is a process of programming our subconscious mind with positive and empowering thoughts, beliefs, and affirmations.Kitabı okudu
"I don’t want an apology, not until you can promise that you won’t keep making the same mistake.”
Jesper rocked lightly on his heels. “I don’t know how to do that.”
“There’s a wound in you, and the tables, the dice, the cards—they feel like medicine. They soothe you, put you right for a time. But they’re poison, Jesper. Every time you play, you take another sip. You have to find some other way to heal that part of yourself.” She laid her hand on his chest. “Stop treating your pain like it’s something you imagined. If you see the wound is real, then you can heal it.”
Writing for publication may be both the easiest and the hardest thing you’ll ever do. Learning the rules—if they can be called rules—is the easy part. Following them, turning them into regular habits, is an ongoing struggle. Here are the rules:
1. Read. Read about the art, the craft, and the business of writing. Read the kind of work you’d like
Stefan Zweig-Chess
Undoubtedly Stefan Zweig is one of the writers who reflects human emotions and handles them deeply. I can say that after reading Metamorphosis (I mentioned it to everyone and made a review of ), I couldn’t escape from its influence, and cannot still. It mentioned the value of human beings. It emphasized Gregor himself. Franz
“The older I get, the more I see how much motivations matter. The Zune was crappy because the people at Microsoft don't really love music or art the way we do. We won because we personally love music. We made the iPod for ourselves, and when you're doing something for yourself, or your best friend or family, you're not going to cheese out. If you don't love something, you're not going to cheese out. If you don't love something, you're not going to cheese out. If you don't love something, you're not going to go the extra mile, work the extra weekend, challenge the status quo as much.”
The Seductive Process
Phase One: Separation—Stirring Interest and Desire
1-Choose the Right Victim:
Everything depends on the target of your seduction. Study your prey thoroughly, and choose only those who will prove susceptible to your charms. The right victims are those for whom you can fill a void, who see in you something exotic.
'So when you call someone “untrustworthy” or “ungrateful,” turn the reproach on yourself.
It was you who did wrong. By assuming that someone with those traits deserved your trust.
Or by doing them a favor and expecting something in return, instead of looking to the action itself for your reward.
What else did you expect from helping someone out?
Isn’t it enough that you’ve done what your nature demands? You want a salary for it too?
As if your eyes expected a reward for seeing, or your feet for walking. That’s what they were made for. By doing what they were designed to do, they’re performing their function. Whereas humans were made to help others. And when we do help others—or help them to do something—we’re doing what we were designed for.
We perform our function.'!!!
