Journey from past to present... Greetings.. I found this book, which I read in English, more appropriate to review in English. Before we go into the review, I would like to point out that since I cannot use the language at a high level, there may be expression disorders or misuse in some places.Thank you for understanding. Another thought-provoking, informative book from Yuval Noah Harari. What I've read before from the author; I think this book should be read as well as the books "Sapiens and 21 Lessons for the 21st Century". I can summarize this book with two questions ; What happened in our past? What will happen in our future? In addition to these, the content of the book is literally a wealth of information. The author has blended it with his own opinions and in many places, did not leave the documents incomplete in his book .I would definitely recommend that people who are interested in science, technology, history in particular should read it. I have no doubt that you will take a lot of notes while reading. I wish you pleasant reading. Few Quotes ; *Throughout history most humans took war for granted, whereas peace was a temporary and precarious state. My level is a2 or b1 I don't know exactly. Sorry for my mistakes for now. Anyways. This book about a girl. Her name is Melody(Üzümlü kekim Melody). She is a very smart girl despite cerebral palsy. She can't speak, walk and act alone. Her classmates treat her badly because she is disabled(I hate Molly and Claire)but she doesn't give up despite everything. 2/5 Stars (%45/100) The concept is good: Twins created by alchemy who have reality-bending powers related to language and maths. However, the execution falls short in my opinion. The world feels dull and empty. It's mostly plot-driven in my opinion, and that's why I didn't really care about any of the characters maybe Reed at some point. Eventually, finishing it became a chore because it was too long and overly complicated (jumping from time to time, place to place). I love unique sci-fi but this was closer to fantasy because the science element is mostly missing. This was my first book by the author and I'm fairly disappointed because she is an award-winning author and this book apparently won some too. I don't know how some people "worship" the book and the author or that this book is THE best book they've ever read. In short, you could give it a go, but don't expect too much.

Maybe hopelessness is freedom.

Seems absurd that Estragon and Vladimir forget that it's not the first day they've been waiting for godot,they don't even remember the messenger already told them "tomorrow without a doubt", they don't seemingly realise they're living in a cycle but they continue to wait something that's not coming,hoping it will. Maybe they want to forget that this routine already happened because if they didn't forget they would remain hopeless. Is it so bad to be hopeless? Or is hope that makes us suffer? Waiting and waiting until your strengths break. Maybe hopelessness is freedom.
