dancing to the silence of the night we sway like a bed of roses in the wind
'in all honesty, i want to die.' leaving for good after a good long cry, she said: 'we both have suffered terribly, but, sappho, it is hard to say goodbye.' i said: 'go with my blessing if you go always remembering what we did. to me you have meant everything, as you well know. 'yet, lest it slip your mind, i shall review everything we have shared - the good times, too: 'you culled violets and roses, bloom and stem, often in spring and i looked on as you wove a bouquet into a diadem. 'time and again we plucked lush flowers, wed spray after spray in strands and fastened them around your soft neck; you perfumed your head 'of glossy curls with myrrh - lavish infusions in queenly quantities - then on a bed prepared with fleecy sheets and yielding cushions, 'sated your craving...'

The time of roses
"Süleyman!  Tahtın  nerede? Rüzgârla birlikte  gitti. Babil!  Kudretin  nerede?  Rüzgârla  birlikte  gitti." (James Clarence Mangan)
The cherry season Is the time for love.
I wouldn't give you up, my child, For four hundred thousand. You have such lovely Eyebrows and wrists- And those wonderful hands of yours. I have to say it, No I have to shout it in the public squares That now at the coffeehouse Of this little Anatolian town Where roses smolder in whirls The cherry season Is the time for love.

Doctor spent so much of his time being vague, unassuming, accomodating, and sometimes downright infuriating, that it became all too easy to forget how mesmerisingly impressive he could be when he put his mind to it. So much of the time his genius seemed intuitive, but how much of an act was that? Could a man really muddle absent-mindedly through the most appalingly dangerous situations and come up smelling of roses almost every time?

Ben bir ormanım ve karanlık ağaçlarla dolu bir geceyim: ama karanlığımdan korkmayan, güllerle dolu bankalar bulacaktır. I am a forest, and a night of dark trees: but he who is not afraid of my darkness, will find banks full of roses.
Time is jealous of you and wars against your lilies and your roses.

- Everything is perfect on the street again, the world is permeated with roses of happiness all the time, but none of us know it. The happiness consists in realizing that it is all a great strange dream.

It was then that the fox appeared. “Good morning,” said the fox. “Good morning,” the little prince responded politely, although when he turned around he saw nothing. “I am right here,” the voice said, “under the apple tree.” “Who are you?” asked the little prince, and added, “You are very pretty to look at.” “I am a fox,” the

“I heard you scream,” he said as I examined the blade in my hands. I’d never held one so finely crafted, so perfectly balanced. “And I hesitated. Not long, but I hesitated before I came running. Even though Tam got there in time, I still broke my heart word in those seconds I waited.” He jerked his chin at the knife. “It’s yours. Don’t bury it in my back, please.”
Did you remember this game? wow it comes from 1800s
One rainy evening, they played a curious game I had never heard before. The ladies asked the servants to bring them all shawls and draperies of any kind. All these things were carried to the drawing-room without delay. In the meantime, the gentlemen summoned the ladies around them; it was time to choose their partner for the game. Mr Rochester chose Miss Ingram. At that moment I sat quietly in my usual seat in the corner of the room. Miss Ingram went out of the room for a while. Mr Rochester and the others waited for her in the drawing-room. Shortly, Miss Ingram entered the drawing-room. She was dressed in white, a long veil on her head and roses in her hands. Mr Rochester came up to her and led her to the middle of the room. Everybody recognized the pantomime of marriage at once. “You are a bride!” guessed one gentleman. “Yes” said the others.
ONCE UPON A time there was a wealthy merchant who had three beautiful daughters. He spoiled them so much that the younger two girls did little all day but sit before the mirror, gazing at their own beauty and pinching their cheeks to make them red . One day the merchant had to leave on a journey. “What shall I bring you when I return?” he asked
But it happened that after walking for a long time through sand, and rocks, and snow, the little prince at last came upon a road. And all roads lead to the abodes of men. “Good morning,” he said. He was standing before a garden, all a-bloom with roses. “Good morning,” said the roses. The little prince gazed at them. They all looked like his flower. “Who are you?” he demanded, thunderstruck. “We are roses,” the roses said. And he was overcome with sadness. His flower had told him that she was the only one of her kind in all the universe. And here were five thousand of them, all alike, in one single garden! “She would be very much annoyed,” he said to himself, “if she should see that . . . She would cough most dreadfully, and she would pretend that she was dying, to avoid being laughed at. And I should be obliged to pretend that I was nursing her back to life–for if I did not do that, to humble myself also, she would really allow herself to die. . .” Then he went on with his reflections: “I thought that I was rich, with a flower that was unique in all the world; and all I had was a common rose. A common rose, and three volcanoes that come up to my knees–and one of them perhaps extinct forever . . . That doesn’t make me a very great prince . . .” And he lay down in the grass and cried.
