Burada sözü edilen -muhtemelen Kafka dışında- bütün yazarlar, çocukken anne ve babalarının elinden çektikle rinin farkında değildi.Hayatlarının geri kalanında onlara kin beslemediler, en azından bilinçli olarak yapmadılar bunu. Ebeveynleriyle yüzleşebileceklerini düşünmek hiç gerçekçi olmazdı, çünkü yetişkin çocuklar olarak bu ger çeğin farkında değillerdi.
Mücadele etkeni olarak kin, bir insan varlığının doğal sınırlarını çok fazla aşan ve onu etkin, zorba, seçici ve soğuk bir ölüm makinasına dönüştüren düşmana karşı vazgeçilmez kin. Askerlerimiz böyle olmalıdırlar, kinsiz bir halk kaba bir düşmanı yenemez.
